We work in pure
titanium and its alloys (TI-6/4 and TI-6/6/2) and, with inlays of various
karats of gold, silver, platinum, and diamonds, depending on the style.
We especially prefer the 18k gold and titanium combination, it gives
our rings an increditable contrast and uniqueness. We mill our rings
from solid titanium which is much stronger than a cast ring.
Important Information on titanium grades: Most
bands
and tension set rings are made of
All other titanium rings in our collection are made of Commercial Pure Titanium, grade I (Ti 999), It has a tensile strength of 40,000 psi (Pounds per Square Inch). Most Titanium
rings without diamonds are manufactured from Titanium 6/4
(Aircraft Grade) at no extra charge. Titanium 6/4 (90% titanium, 6%
aluminum, 4% vanadium) has a tensile strength of 150,000 psi (Pounds
per Square Inch) and a Brinell hardness value of 330. Most Titanium rings without diamonds can be made in the Titanium 6/6/2 for an extra charge from the base price. Titanium 6.6.2 alloy (86% titanium, 6% aluminum, 6% vanadium, 2% tin) has a tensile strength of 180,000 psi and a Brinell hardness value of 389. Titanium or its alloys are completely hypoallergenic and will not produce skin irritation or discoloration. Important Information on sizing: Resizing in Ti is next to impossible Titanium rings can not be cut and soldered as precious metals, a whole new band would have to be created to correct the sizing error. In some cases a slight adjustment (up to 1/2 size) is possible If you don't know your ring size, the best way to find out is to visit your local jeweler, or we can mail you a free sizing kit, after you placed an order. Please
note: When getting your finger size, most jewelers have 2
sizing sets. One is a wide sizing set for wider rings and the other
is narrow for narrow rings. All
